Grandmas causing accidents, women dressed up as sex symbols, men as chauvinists, etc. Stereotypes are everywhere. They are all over the media. If anyone asserts otherwise I strongly disagree. I believe that stereotypes are something you can't avoid. I think sometimes people live up to their stereotype. Like in high school I was friends with a bunch of the football jocks and I knew that some of them were extremely smart, yet they still decided to act like idiots. They acted like they were the immature jocks that are portrayed in tons of movies, when in reality they are intelligent young men.
This picture is the epitome of a stereotype. Women trying to be thin, regardless of the consequences.
Also, the elderly are victims of a lot of stereotypes. Such as this, the fact that people believe all
grandparents (specifically grandmas) play bingo.
