Last Day in Euroland

Our last day had finally arrived. After riding the French sleepertrain from Nice to Paris (completely uneventful, wonderful beds, great conductor and roomies), we took the underground to the Champs-Elysees to go to the mondo Sephora.

While waiting for the Sephora to open we are sitting on a bench down the street just chilling when this old man comes up to me and sits down. I kind of turn cause he was creepy-bumeseque looking. Then he begins talking. Talking about music, singing songs, asking me questions about everything, etc. He never shuts up. For like 20 minutes I am talking to him [[correction: he is talking to me]] while Liz and Amanda are laughing at me.

When Sephora finally opens we rush inside to find no special deals. It was huge but it was lame. So we left and purchased stuff for our family members. Then we had to get on the train to BRUSSELS.

This is me with my last Orangina with the meringues I purchased in our last boulangerie lunch in Paris. (beteedubs: I actually was this tan).

We get to Brussels and purchase a billion chocolates for ourselves and our family members. They were just supreme.

Liz and Amanda with all of our stuff. Who knew we could fit all this stuff in our three packs (plus Liz's extra red bag).

While at the train station we had to pick up the stuff we left in the station and repack it in our backpacks. It was a chaotic mess. People who walked by were laughing at us. We were happy to provide entertainment. :)

This is us on the train back to London. Complete with a Diet Coke.

When we finally took the train and arrived back in Kings Cross in London, we went to this crepe place in the station. Best dinner crepe I have ever eaten. If you ever are in the station find that crepe place and eat. Ah Yes, it was yummy.

Following our fabulous dinner we went to the aiport. We had no place to stay so we slept in the aiport. It was the best night ever. Sleeping on a bench, freezing cold, being interrupted by the workers going to Starbucks at 3am. Just Fab.

Liz had a whole bench and Amanda and I shared one. Needless to say I slept like an hour and a half that night.

We found a new place with padded seats and Liz covered herself in scarves.

Then we all parted ways and headed back to America. It was bittersweet. Sad to say goodbye to London, but happy to say Hello to America!

My negative leg room on the plane. Not a fan of US Airways.

You said you packed a bagload of chocolate for family and friends? Where's MINE?????

Hm, now I wonder what you're going to blog about, since your trip is all done. I guess I'll just have to wait in anticipation...

Yeah, I need to figure out what to blog about. My life is so boring now that I'm just in school...
