Thou shalt .. not break the laws.

Personal expression goes to far when you know as a person that you went too far. Sometimes people start telling a joke and the joke has a racial slur in it. That could be considered as going too far. Also, during the prelims for the election when the Republican party was still picking a candidate Mike Huckabee had been attacking Mitt Romney for some time. Then he moved on to attacking his (and my) religion! That was when it was too far, that was when he crossed the line. Religion may impact some of his beliefs but we don't criticize people for being baptist or catholic or Christian so why should we get criticized. Also - the whole Prop 8 ordeal. Why is the church getting such a crazy amount of hatred toward it? We participated in our constitutional rights and we are being penalized for it. That is fundamentally wrong. Individuals do have the right to express their opinions about the issue but trying to sue the church for Donating funds for the fight for the family is not right. It's going too far. It's stirring trouble where constitutionally, there should be none. I think in a lot of cases, the situation can be remedied by a simple phrase, think before you speak. That would help in a lot of little everyday scenarios.
