Harry Potter and 4 Square

Ya know, I wondered about this. But more to the point of Harry Potter wonderment. If Harry or his friends carried a cell phone it would probably be a lot easier to find each other or talk to each other. Or updated using twitter, facebook, or 4square how would that have changed the story?
