I was in the parking lot to drop off invitations at the little blue mail box when I decide to make a wide turn so that I can park right next to it. There's this woman crossing the way so naturally I stop.
I'm partially in the other part of the road (it was in a little shopping place, so it wasn't really a 'street') to make the wide turn and this woman decides that she's going to stay STOPPED right in front of me. I'm waiting for her to keep walking so I can turn in when I decide it's probably best to just try to go around her cause I'm getting nowhere. Once I do this I realize she is still standing there, but now with her phone.
After I had pulled into the spot she walks over to the car and begins taking pictures with her little flip picture phone (this woman's like 55). I'm confused so I get out of the car and she says:
"YOU ALMOST HIT ME"
I counter this with, "I saw you, I knew you were there, I stopped, I didn't hit you."
"I DON'T GIVE A D*MN"
I got kind of offended at this point and was like, "Ma'am, I've never hit anyone before, I saw you crossing the street, I stopped and I didn't hit you!"
"I called the police and they're going to check out and see if this car is yours, if you have any record. You're a teenager so --"
I cut in with, "I'm not a teenager, I didn't steal this car and ma'am you're overreacting!!"
"What if I were with my granddaughter, blah, protection, blah, d*am, blah..etc"
It just kept going on like this, with me reiterating the fact that she is overreacting, that I did in fact see her, and that I didn't hit her. It was rather hilarious because she was freaking out. This was one of those scenarios when now that when I think about it, I had so many comebacks, like: "yeah, the police will get right on investigating the person who didn't hit you, before they solve all the crime in southern california."
After I pull out of the lot and go to turn left, little miss freak-out pulls up next to me. So in 'retaliation' I pull out my phone and begin snapping photos of her car. I hope she saw, but she probably didn't.
Oh well. It was a fun story none-the-less. Oh, and if I land in jail, you'll know why.

If I had to peg anyone that this could potentially happen to, idk why but it would be you. How hilarious. Definitely one of those times when you look back and can't stop thinking "What the HECK just happened?" No matter how many times you ask yourself that question, you won't ever fully understand.
I'm glad you thought it was funny. It would have made me SOOOOOOOOOO mad! IN fact, I'm a little infuriated about it, and it didn't even happen to me. Who is she to accuse my little sister! The nerve! Boy, if I could I'd give her a purple eye!!!
Moment's like this are where the "10 points if you hit them" game sounds like a great idea, lol. I'd of told her to go take another zanax
