I woke up at 6:00am this morning to accompany my great friend Sara to the airport. Coincidentally this worked out perfectly since my sister was flying in and needed to be picked up. Regardless of their perfect arrival and departure times, there was still a lag in which I had to wait. During the which, I waited in the designated waiting area.
I have to say, this waiting area was a fantastic and genious idea. Everyone knows you may end up waiting forever to pick up someone at the airport. As predictable as you hope the planes are, there are always unexpected things that come up causing the need for this "waiting area". Thinking more on this idea, I realized just how perfectly the airport addressed a common problem. This little waiting area addresses their problem of overcrowding in the pick up area, and our problem of not knowing where to go when we have to wait! Talk about a great solution!
It's just lovely to see practical solutions to everday problems.
